Custom Luthier can offer assistance in the conceptual development, prototyping,
and full production and fabrication of your project. Just a few steps and you
will be on your way to realize your idea! Rest assured your project will
remain in strict confidence with our non-disclosure agreement policy.
Concepting:
Upon your approval, Custom Luthier will begin concept development by working
from your original sketches, or simply from your verbal description. The
concept drawings will be developed into working drawings suitable for prototyping.
- A Non-Disclosure Agreement will be prepared for
all parties to approve, The Agreement may be prepared
by either you or Custom Luthier We do not offer legal
counsel relating to copyright or patent procedures.
- A discovery meeting with you will provide us the
information we need to thoroughly understand your idea,
its objective(s), and your target audience.
- Based on the complexity of your idea, a proposal for
estimated costs will be submitted for your approval. The
proposal will be itemized in the following phases:
- Concept Development
- Prototyping
- Production
- Once the proposal is approved, we will begin concept
development by working from your original sketches, or
simply from your verbal description. Upon your approval of our
concept drawings, working drawings will be developed for
the prototyping phase.
Prototyping:
Based upon client approved drawings, CustomLuthier will begin the process of fabricating
the prototypes. If variations are necessary, we will continue the process until a
satisfactory prototype has been developed. It may be necessary, however, to
renegotiate the project at this time.
NOTE: Custom Luthier does not guarantee the success of the prototype and consequently,
is not liable for the failure of a prototype. We can only guarantee our best efforts
will be set forth to develop a successful prototype based on the approved working
drawings. An approval process will be mandatory for each step of development,
from concept drawings to working drawings. This is to assure the understanding of
and agreement of both parties with the working drawings.
Production:
Custom Luthier is fully equipped to produce large and small quantity production
runs of your project. We can also produce large and small quantities of specific
components of your project.
